OOC Permissions

★ Backtagging: I'll backtag forever, I don't care how long it's been, so don't feel shy about sending late tags! This is a hobby, I don't stress over it and neither should you!
★ Pace: Slow to medium. If I get to boomerang it's an anomaly, and I typically do not RP on the weekends.
★ Style: Action or prose, usually writing in 3rd Person Present but can write in 3rd Person Past.
★ Threadjacking: Totally fine, unless it really looks like the thread has a specific direction that doesn't need disruption. Use your discretion.
★ Fourthwalling: Nah.
★ General Warnings: Len is an 18+ character that can be nsfw or explicit. He comes from a world where brutality and violence is normalized and a part of nearly everyday existence. Occasional torture and sexual violence is the norm as well among raiders or various bands of crazed people out in the desert. Slavery is not common, but common enough that it's a problem with local totalitarian/fascistic groups or raiding parties - when he was young, Len was subject to this for a brief period of time. Substance abuse (specifically drugs and alcohol) is also a regular issue in the Mojave Wasteland, and Len himself is both a borderline alcoholic and a former addict of Jet, among other substances. Slightly later in his canon he is the victim of some horrific human experimentation. He will most likely discuss or offhandedly refer to content like this, which may be triggering. If there's something in particular that bothers you, please feel free to opt out/let me know!
★ Stuff I Like:

- Canon settings/canon AUs, historical AUs, or just AUs in general (see link here)! Fallout: New Vegas has a Western (TM) flavor and Len slots well into other worlds of that nature or ones based in horror, but I'm extremely flexible with him because what world isn't improved with the addition of a cowboy? Westworld AU? Hell yeah. Red Dead Redemption AU?? TLoU?? General dystopian world, apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic?? High fantasy?? Sign me tf up. Other properties that are not western but might still be fun??? Seriously anything though, he's easy to adapt. Coffee shop AU him for all I care.
- Action/adventure, fighting scenes, treating injuries.
- Actual trauma, exploration of PTSD/addiction.
- Fucked-up stuff like manipulation, cycles of abuse, people tryna outwit/play off of each other.
- Hurt/comfort, mutual grooming, and deep emotional conversations, though the last one is something he's not especially good at.
- Fish out of water - he's not an academic or anything close to high-class, but he can pass when necessary thanks to a history in the art of the con.
- Basic bitch tropey stuff like trapped together or there's only one bed, you know, fanfic shit.

IC Permissions

★ Physical Touch: Yes(ish). Len has no issues with contact, but generally assumes someone wants something from him if they're overly tactile and don't know each other very well. With those he is comfortable around, he is much more touch-oriented toward them.
★ Mind-reading: Sure! He'll absolutely hate it.
★ Flirting: Len can be extremely flirtatious if the mood strikes him, even when he's not altogether serious about it. He'll give as good as he gets, if not more so, provided the other person's of age. He has a reputation in the wasteland for sweet-talking people. Disclaimer: his default is flirtatious, or things that border on sounding flirtatious, but this does not inherently mean that he is sexually interested in someone. Sometimes he does it just to set someone on the back foot from the get-go.
★ Kissing/Hugging: Once close with someone, either platonically or romantically, he initiates embraces often. Kissing less so, but if it comes out of nowhere from someone he doesn't know well he'll be sus about it.
★ Romance/Sex: Len is pansexual, a little bit of a ho, and if he's honest about himself he kind of enjoys that. He has Horny On Main disease and it's terminal. Having had a pretty bad run in the past with attempts at relationships, getting emotionally close takes a lot of time. It will be a slow-burn endeavor because he is a mess. He is not, however, opposed to flings, fuckbuddies, or friends with benefits. Considers himself an attentive lover and really enjoys getting to the root of what someone likes.

- Things set in the wider Fallout world or an AU in another world are fine.
- I like shipping focused on character, emotional and relational development.
- For the purposes of meme threads I'm cool with assuming a pre-existing relationship/romance, to skirt the hellscape that is his commitment phobia.

★ Shipping:

- Preferably 25+. He's a grown-ass man, anyone really young and it starts to feel weird with power dynamics he doesn't like.
- Can age Len down if necessary, or if we're angling for something earlier in life.
- If we've threaded before, assumed relationship is fine.
- Will write smut (or fade to black, if you prefer).
- Kink friendly (see list), no scat/gore stuff but otherwise pretty open and pretty willing to get nasty.
- Yes to canon, cross-canon, anything and everything.
- Faves: Do you play a Fallout character? Yeah I'll Probably Ship That. Bonus points for Arcade Gannon, Craig Boone, any of the not-already-spoken-for FNV companions. Also: Intelligent/academic types, slow burn, shared/understanding trauma, opposites attract, danger sluts/risk-takers or characters from similar post-apocalyptic/dystopian settings. Witty banter or bad jokes are a big draw for him.
- Yes: FWB or casual relationships, anti-heroes, people who can handle themselves. Hatefucking, because who hasn't been there before? Characters being at-odds sometimes but sharing mutual respect.
- No: Underage or absolutely reprehensible psychopaths, because he'd probably shoot the latter* on sight. Complete sexual inexperience or naivety can be a turn-off, mostly because he does not want to be a teacher starting from scratch. *An exception here can be made for the aforementioned hatefucking.

★ Injuring: Hell yeah, the wasteland's a terrible and dangerous place.

OOC Limits: The world of Fallout is pretty awful so his threshold is incredibly high. Len has been shot, stabbed, experimented on, bitten, burned, blown up, cut into, you name it and it's probably happened. Pain threshold is far up there and he's not squeamish about injecting himself with meds to speed up the healing process.
IC Limits: Open to just about anything. If you're dubious, just ask!

★ Fighting: Len is an excellent rifleman who tends to specialize in long-range firearms, but wears a sidearm to supplement for more close-range situations. He's an extremely dirty fighter who angles for the upper hand whenever he can. See: Weapons and Fighting Style
★ Killing: If we plan it first. :)
